The Album
“Sequencia,” composed, conducted by and featuring Susan Alexjander, was released in 1994. The audio CD features performers such as Diana Nieves, Don Lax and Karen Andrie with the Logos Ensemble orchestra. Available in both CD and MP3 format, the album boasts nine tracks including “Eikos,” “Adenine” and “Psalmus.” This album is truly unlike any other. Rather than a simple orchestral arrangement, it is a unique pairing of classical music and scientific sounds. Using audio derived from the vibrations of DNA, producers married the two techniques to create what a reviewer called an “invisible [whisper] within.”
