Contributing Performers Featured on Sequencia

Susan Alexjander’s DNA-based “Sequencia” album features a number of different contributing musical artists. Alexjander herself served as composer and conductor, and hired on a crew of musicians to accompany the synthesizer tunes she created from DNA frequencies. Perhaps the most famous of these contributing artists is the Logos Ensemble Orchestra, who is notorious for pushing the boundaries of normal music in both their live and recorded performances.

The contributing performers

Not only did Susan Alexjander compose and conduct the “Sequencia” album, but she performs on the tracks as well. Also contributing to the experimental music is the infamous Logos Ensemble Orchestra. The orchestra is part of the larger Logos Ensemble, which includes singers, dancers, acrobats and other live performers ranging from children to adults.

Accompanying Alexjander and the Logos Ensemble Orchestra are artists Andrew McLester, William Trimble, Don Lax and Karen Andrie, along with many others.

“Sequencia” remains to be one of the most unique and intricate pieces of musicianship ever created. While Alexjander is largely responsible for the concept behind the album, she had the assistance of many different talented artists to craft her final creation.
